Leonardo is an environmental engineer with a Master’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. His graduate research project was on wastewater treatment and water quality analysis at a water reclamation facility in Reno, Nevada. Leonardo has four years of experience in the water resources industry, including inundation studies, evaluation of environmental impacts for CEQA compliance, hydrological analyses of rivers and reservoirs, and groundwater management for the Mojave River and the Borrego Springs groundwater basins. For RBI, Leonardo is working on providing NPDES permit assistance for wastewater discharges, improvement projects for existing wastewater treatment plants, and supporting water quality analyses of unit processes. In addition, Leonardo is proficient in engineering software such as HEC-RAS, MODFLOW, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD.
